please help me. I don't understand why this is not working I tried to cd pset1 already but it still didn't work. I have been spending a lot of time to figure it out yet I can't. Please help me I would really appreciate everyone's help.

Simple problem. You're in the wrong subdirectory. You need to move to the same directory as the source code file, ie, pset1/Populationn.
Remember that directory names are case sensitive and to match the (incorrect) spelling of Populationn.
