I've read the document on how to share files via FTP, but had trouble with it too. I think the simpler way to do it is to set up Dropbox on your computer outside of the appliance. Once set up, and after a few minutes, everything in the Dropbox inside your appliance will automatically replicate to the Dropbox directory on your computer outside your appliance. It will also automatically update/copy changes and additions without you having to do anything in the future. Just set it up according to directions on the Dropbox website.

  • it works for small size files . But if i need to share course content in GB i need to upgrade to Dropbox pro – Elhaw Jun 25 '15 at 20:48
  • Yes, if you're moving GB sized files, but what are you copying that is that big? I've been using it like this since I started, plus for other uses, and haven't needed to upgrade yet. IF you do need to copy that much though, I get it. – Cliff B Jun 25 '15 at 20:53
  • lectures ,shorts ,.........etc larger than 20 GB – Elhaw Jun 25 '15 at 21:01
  • Well, you can copy the lectures and shorts directly from their websites either to your computer or into the appliance. Better than copying down to one and then over to the other. – Cliff B Jun 25 '15 at 21:13
