I'm re-generating a fish object in forever loop, i want to work it as if i sense touch to the fish it should disappear / delete while the original fish keep on generating fishes.

Everything is going fine till the re-generation and touching of the fish but i'm unable to make it disappear / hide / delete. The hide puzzle piece just isn't working as i want when i use "Hide" it does effect but only when game is restarted.

I tried checking working of "Hide" & "set ghost effect to 100" by making a message "Hello" so that i may know if those puzzle piece are working or not. After executing the prog when fish was touched is started giving message "Hello" on every newly generated fish. This is what i got till now, anyone please help?

You can try out something like this:

scratch project snippet

Let me know if it worked!

  • okay it worked but it ran into another problem it remain stuck for sometime while scores keep increase because it's sensing touch. Apart from your solution I was thinking of an idea that i may need to apply id's to each of the clone generated will this work or it isn't necessary? i get this far scratch.mit.edu/projects/70922462/#editor but still i'm not able to control my program i read the topic scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/107078 and i think i'm doing things as they said but still i'm messing something Jul 22, 2015 at 2:38
