The specs for "lookup" refer, for example, to "html (or any capitalization thereof)." Does this mean just "html or HTML," or does it also include all 14 possible mixed-case combinations?
1 Answer
All 16 mixed case combinations:
1. html
2. Html
3. hTml
4. HTml
5. htMl
6. HtMl
7. hTMl
8. HTMl
9. htmL
10. HtmL
11. HTmL
12. hTmL
13. htML
14. HtML
15. HTML
16. hTML
It's 24=16. Just saying. :P But yes any possible capitalization should be considered the same.

Actually, two are same case and 14 are mixed case. More important, thanks very much for the answer. Aug 3, 2015 at 20:21

Just try using strcasecmp() as per the advice in the spec. I think that'll help Nov 27, 2016 at 23:27
