I recently updated my computer to Windows 10 and the appliance was still there and it opened and I was able to continue working on pset5. The problem arose when I was finished and had to submit the pset. As it turns out the appliance doesn't have any internet connection and I can't figure out a way of fixing. Do I need to reinstall the appliance? Or is there a way of fixing without having to do that?

  • I think your best bet would be to reinstall VirtualBox or VMware (whatever you use) and re-import the appliance. Even though my transition to win 10 was seamless many fellows had to reinstall their virtual machine.

For anyone else who might have this problem I went with ChrisG's advice and just completely wiped the the VMware player off of my computer and then just downloaded it again. Everything seems to be working fine, and I can finally hand in the pset.
