my pset4 recover grading is 0. However comment shows all the images recovered successfully. How can I get my grades corrected. Also, all images recovered successfully on my cs50 applaince.enter image description here

check50 also gives two different results for the same file, even if i don't make any changes to the file.terminal screenshot

  • can you do a check50 on your recover.c and copy paste the sandboxed link – Muneeb Hussain Aug 31 '15 at 14:31
  • sandbox.cs50.net/checks/2f3743f4b4f84306b46244015059dc76 check50 says "recover.c compiles \killed by server", but last time it was all working. – Saurabh Aug 31 '15 at 14:41
  • does your recover file work every single time? – Muneeb Hussain Aug 31 '15 at 15:07
  • Could be a error on the server fault or something wrong with your code. – Muneeb Hussain Aug 31 '15 at 15:08
  • yeah, recover file work every single time – Saurabh Aug 31 '15 at 15:10

There have been problems with the servers over time. The error you're seeing indicates one of two issues - either your code won't compile, or the server is timing out (sometimes from excessive load). If it compiles cleanly locally on your machine AND you can get a clean check50 run from your computer, then it is usually server load.

You should resubmit the entire pset for regrading. (It needs to be submitted as a complete package.) It will recheck everything and grade it all. There are no penalties for resubmission and it will always take the grade for the latest submission.
