Guys I have a very weird problem. I have practically completed the speller pset. And I was practising with a small dictionary it worked fine with a small dictionary but with a large dictionary I simply get 0 misspelling.

fixed apparently the problem was in how I was using strcmp to detect differences

  • I'm also having a similar problem, my print out is 'code' WORDS MISSPELLED: 0 WORDS IN DICTIONARY: 143091 WORDS IN TEXT: 143091 TIME IN load: 0.02 TIME IN check: 5.47 TIME IN size: 0.00 TIME IN unload: 0.00 TIME IN TOTAL: 5.49 'code' When I run the check50 though it comes up as passing, however when I run valgrind it appears to be freezing up until I ctrl+c the terminal. May I ask how you are using strcmp? or at least let me know if I am using it correctly.
