I am new to CS50. I am facing the problem with submission of my pset1. Whenever I open the link 'apps.cs50.edx.org/cs50x/2014/@/submit' in chrome, I get a blank screen with no option to upload the problem set. (just CS50x Submit is written on top left of the window). I tried refreshing many times, but every time, I get a blank screen. What can I do? Is there any alternate way to submit the pset?

  • I don't know if this might be useful but you may try deleting the browser's cached images and files and hosted application data!

  • Well, probably you may try installing a different browser (e.g., firefox) and try from it. This link might be useful: linuxg.net/…

and welcome to the SE CS50 community.

This is a common problem if you have a slow web connection like I do, simply wait for a minute or two even after the top button shows that the page is done loading. You are forced to do so because it uses some AJAX stuff and JS stuff(probably), that's why it takes a long time to upload the mainframe, so

Just wait for a minute or two and it will load up!

Appendix

If nothing is working, then first try to open the same URL on your windows OS(or Mac OS X), if you see everything successfully and even see the submit button, then you can try mailing the source code( the file-name.c files) to yourself using Chrome's inbuilt browser, then open your mail on windows, download those files and save them offline, then submit the source code through your windows laptop, though, this one's surely a tedious and long process, I think if this doesnt work, you'll have to contact authorities.

Happy Coding!

  • Thanks alot for your reply... But I actually waited for 30 mins! Even then, I am unable to see "problem set 1" on the screen. Is there any way to submit pset using command line interface?

  • I know, that's why I hadn't suggested you do that in the first place! :D Best if luck for the future and congratulations on completing the pset
