when I use check50 to check my recover program for pset 5, it says that the pictures are not recovered, but when I look in the file directory, all of the 50 pictures are perfectly recovered. How could this be?

Can you post a link to your sandbox check50 results? That will help us see what your problem may be. -Brenda.– curiouskiwi ♦Commented Jun 23, 2014 at 0:26

How would I upload my check50 results?– coenvalkCommented Jun 23, 2014 at 19:33

When you run check50, it gives you a URL. Copy that link and paste it here.– curiouskiwi ♦Commented Jun 23, 2014 at 21:31

I have the same issue. I am able to copy all 50 images out of the .raw file, but check 50 says my exit code is incorrect. The URL is "512\n1\n512\n" ... any help would be greatly appreciated.– SalCommented Nov 29, 2014 at 4:27

A lot of people have had this issue and it is usually either something to do with padding or ensuring the pictures are named correctly, that being 000.jpg-049.jpg. Read the assignment carefully and ensure you are following the directions for output to the letter.
Well, though I've not done the pset5 myself in the course, but I've seen that since the last few days, quite a huge lot of people have been having the same problem, most of them simply submitted their files online for checking and putting grade to gradebook, I recommend you don't worry what the check50 says, if you're sure your code does do the job, and go and submit it as your entry for the gradebook. And be sure to check that you have run all these diagnostic tests(credits to Cygni_61 for the answer).

check50 is the grader, so no point submitting your code for grading if it doesn't pass check50.– curiouskiwi ♦Commented Jun 23, 2014 at 0:25

Have to agree with curiousKiwi here. I believe check50 IS the grader, I don't imagine much human interaction with the submissions. I could be wrong though, just my presumption.– FrankeexCommented Aug 30, 2014 at 0:44
