learners! I'm glad to be a part of this community. About our course, CS50, I was frustrated because in our university we didn't learn how we could take notes from the course. Our instructors start writing on the board and we just copy. How should I take notes from the course?

Thank you for all your help!

you don't have to do that because there are already notes for each lecture in a PDF form which you can find under each lecture video in edX.

you may still want to take your own notes (maybe even on the notes provided by the staff). in general terms, there are purposes of taking notes:

  1. to summarize things so that you don't have to go through everything every time you wanna revise a single topic or point.

  2. to clarify things further so that you don't have to re-think through things in case you forget.

keep that in mind while writing notes and you should be fine! hope that helps!
