I'm installing VMware Worstation 11.1.1 on Win7 64 bit. I get this error halfway through the installation. Are there any possible fixes for this?

  • Are you sure you have downloaded the full .msi file? Maybe some chunks weren't downloaded? Also are you running the installer logged in as administrator? – ChrisG Oct 2 '15 at 13:49
  • If you are on Windows (I guess you are) do the following. Right click the .msi file you downloaded and check the Size: property. Is it 317,786,776 bytes? – ChrisG Oct 2 '15 at 14:19
  • The complete file was downloaded, and the size is 317,786,776 bytes. Also I am running the installed as the administrator. – Arlo Oct 2 '15 at 14:45
