I do not always have access to the internet. is there a way to download an entire pset at once, including all the text and all the videos? And also is there a way to download the entire course at once?

  1. You could manually do it. downloading each video and the accompanying text one by one.
  2. Programmatically using something like the cURL library.
  3. With a program like httrack website copier
  • Thank you for taking time to answer me. I tried to use httrack and a few other such programs but they all are not working for the cs50 website. the httrack gives an error that says that it may have to do with the proxy settings. do you know how i would find out the proper proxy settings for cs50 website? it also says that it may have to do with the authorization. do you know which authorization i can switch it to?. thank you. – mordy roth Nov 24 '15 at 9:54
  • Off the top of my head that that sounds like the issue has to do with the fact that you have to be 'logged in' to download the data. I have used HTTrack to copy various websites but none that require login. When you start a new project in HTTrack, after hitting next button twice you can look under set options to see the variouse option. – Chris Nov 25 '15 at 2:20
  • To do what your asking is probably a fairly complicated setup. I have not done something like that with HTTrack myself but I know if I banged on it long enough I'd eventually figure it out (the program is capable of doing what you ask). You somehow need to tell HTTrack to login to the cs50 website before trying to crawl. also, you probably want to configure it to focus specifically on what you want as oppose to downloading all the content on the site. – Chris Nov 25 '15 at 2:21
