Whenever I try to run the staff's fro-shims-0 program or any other PHP code the browser just downloads the PHP file for me. Isn't there something about PHP being a server side scripting language? How can I make it run the code and display the page?

  • Where are you storing the file, what is it named, and what address are you using to access it in your browser?

The PHP is mainly used for server side scripting. You can not view them just like a simple html document. First copy them to your localhost directory. Change the mode of the files by chmod command and then run them through Google Chrome. Hope that works.
