Really stuck on pset6, all I want to do is subtract http/1.1 from the request target and nothing I've tried seems to work.

Does anyone know any pseudo code I could follow for this?

I can move the pointer forward no problem, so I can get /cat.html HTTP/1.1 for example.

Any help, much appreciated.

I figured it out, I used strncpy because you can copy a certain length and cut off the end of a string that way.

Once you know how long the request target is, and if you know how long the http version string is, then you can copy the request target to itself, with the length of request target minus the length of the http version.
