that means that your program does not compile successfully. to compile your program, you should navigate to the directory where your source code (
.c) file is located using the
cd command, then execute the following command:
make <source code file name>
for example, to compile
mario.c, you should execute:
if you don't see any output, that is a great sign! you should find an executable file called
mario created in the same directory through which you can run your program.
if you see errors, you need to fix them then retry compiling! see the specs for more info!
you should not try testing your program with
check50 before you test your program yourself, maybe by running it, giving it some input and checking if you get the expected output.
