I've updated my 2015 solution for pset6 Server (which I never got around to submitting) to the 2016 requirements and finally it seems to work (again). I can open the cat images and the php also works, but for some reason it fails the Check50! It passes the server1 check but not the server2 check. I'm not really sure where to go from here. I would really appreciate suggestions for how to put this right. Thanks in advance!

  • Are you adding a null terminator to content in load()? This post (cs50.stackexchange.com/questions/16598/…) has nearly identical results to yours and that was the problem. – DinoCoderSaurus Apr 7 '16 at 13:13
  • No, I wasn't adding a null terminator in load(), but thanks for the suggestion. It must be something else. – Matthew Birket Apr 7 '16 at 18:18
  • A non or improperly null terminated abs_path is another (highly) likely suspect. – DinoCoderSaurus Apr 7 '16 at 18:20
  • And remember, it can be perfect in parse. But if it's not perfect when it's back in the caller and actually being used (tested), another possible fail. – DinoCoderSaurus Apr 7 '16 at 18:48
  • Turned out the problem was actually in indexes(). Having corrected that it now passes them all. Thanks for the help. – Matthew Birket Apr 9 '16 at 15:21
