The following is the output when I run "./server public"

It took me forever to get the code to the point where it would compile, and I am trying to run valgrind, but valgrind didn't find any problems. I'd be happy to paste code if it makes sense, I just don't know which block of code to post.

sambigelow@ide50:~/workspace/pset6 $ ./server public
Using /home/ubuntu/workspace/pset6/public for server's root
Listening on port 8080
GET / HTTP/1.1
*** Error in `./server': free(): invalid pointer: 0x00007ffeced9cb00 ***
Aborted
sambigelow@ide50:~/workspace/pset6 $

https://ide50-sambigelow.cs50.io/

That is my website if anybody wants to go see what the error looks like, I have the server program running, but it will abort after one person checks it. I'll try and keep it running so other people can check.

Thank you.

Remember, the waiting is the hardest part. When you start server, all you should see is

sambigelow@ide50:~/workspace/pset6 $ ./server public
Using /home/ubuntu/workspace/pset6/public for server's root
Listening on port 8080

until you send a request. So if you run valgrind ./server public remember to send a request to your server (before you ctrl-c), because if you just ctrl-c, valgrind will (should!) look squeaky clean.

Your result is similar (though not identical) to this post.

gdb should help you track down your problem, this post might be helpful.
