I have problems downloading the pset3.zip file according to HTML specifications for problem set 3. I have tried running update50, connect50, I have logged off and back in again. The terminal isn't returning any output after attempting to download with wget:

jharvard@appliance (~): cd ~/Dropbox wget http://cdn.cs50.net/2013/fall/psets/3/pset3/pset3.zip
jharvard@appliance (~/Dropbox): unzip pset3.zip
unzip: cannot find or open pset3.zip, pset3.zip.zip or pset3.zip.ZIP.
jharvard@appliance (~/Dropbox): connect50
Appliance has Internet access!
jharvard@appliance (~/Dropbox): cd ~/Dropbox wget http://cdn.cs50.net/2013/fall/psets/3/pset3/pset3.zip
jharvard@appliance (~/Dropbox):

  • I suppose there was an overload on the server side. Try again later, you should be able to wget your file.

If you are already in the ~/Dropbox directory, at your prompt, simply run

wget http://cdn.cs50.net/2013/fall/psets/3/pset3/pset3.zip

If you are not in the ~/Dropbox directory, first type:

cd ~/Dropbox

press enter. That puts you into the directory. Now you can do the wget.

If you type cd ~/Dropbox wget etc. all in one command as you have done, it won't work.

I've just tested it myself.
