Are there any adaptive technologies for typing in the terminal window?
I love the cs50x class, but I have a history of repetitive strain injury. I can use typing-by-voice for word processing applications, and I can paste into most places I need to type, including my .c files in the gedit programming files. But the terminal window seems to be the one place that everything must actually be typed. Is there any way around this?
(Perhaps you are thinking, "Why, then, are you doing computer science?" but the obvious answer is, "because it's so much fun!")
It wouldn't be a problem if I were a more adept programmer, but as it is, I end up compiling and running my programs lots and lots of times before I get them right. If anyone knows of a way to cut down the keystrokes, let me know.
