All check50 passes. But when I telnet this:

GET /cat.html HTTP/1.1

I receive an error 404! But the file exists inside pset6's public folder.
The error is flagged here (line 208):

// ensure path exists
if (access(path, F_OK) == -1)
{
    error(404);
    continue;
 }

How can this be? What am I doing wrong?

Tried different location, but still get de same error:

GET /public/cat.html HTTP/1.1

  • so check50's checks pass, but you're getting 404 locally? any chance the compiled executable is out-dated?

  • And....Did code pass all tests in both check50 (server1 and server2)? Jul 16 '16 at 11:57
  • It only invokes the parse function, so it has nothing to do with load or anything else. Jul 18 '16 at 7:57
