This is what my workspace terminal looks like:
~workspace/ $ ls pset1/
CS50 Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for students of Harvard University's CS50. It only takes a minute to sign up.
Sign up to join this communityAt Problem Set 1: C you'll see the instructions that you need to run before the folder shows up.
The 'pset1' directory needs to be created before 'ls' will show it.
Oh... and be sure to hit 'enter'. ;)
A quicker way to make all the directories you'll need in CS50 would be to use the mkdir
command in a Terminal tab in the CS50 IDE:
cd ~/workspace
mkdir pset1
mkdir pset2
mkdir pset3
mkdir pset4
mkdir pset5
mkdir pset6
mkdir pset7
mkdir pset8
I'm surprised that you made it as far as the Problem Set without setting up your workspace. Did you skip any of the lessons in Module 1?
