I have been working on pset1 for a few days and I am running into the same problem. Which environment am I suppose to work in: the one located at https://ide.cs50.io or the one found on VMware? I can only save my items on the VMware interface and I don't want to get further along and find out I was in the wrong terminal.

Subsequently I am receiving the message

:) hello.c exists
:( hello.c compiles expected an exit code of 0, not standard error of "hello.c:1:10: fatal error: 'cs50.' file..."
:| prints "hello, world\n"

\ can't check until a frown turns upside down

When my code looks just like this:

#include <cs50.>
#include <stdio.h>

int  main(void)
    printf("hello, world\n");

Any help is greatly appreciated. Mahalo!

I suppose that for the course the IDE is better, although it is possible to work in a virtual machine like VMWare, as far as the error is quite clear.

#include <cs50.>

should be

#include <cs50.h>
