I'm really struggling with this pset, and resize especially - I have gone through the code, but I don't know what I am missing. I could really use someone to take a look at the code and point me in the right direction, as I'm completely lost with this now.

I've been looking through the other questions and answers re updating the headers, but my width and height always seem to be wrong. I presumed these were biHeight * n, but clearly this is incorrect. Any pointers???

  • "I can't make it work" is not a question. If you identify and describe a specific task you're struggling with, then we'll be able to help.

You have a good shell outline here. Start small and work with making sure you are modifying the new file's header correctly. Look at the header info and figure out which areas will be changing, then figure out how they will need to be modified based on the supplied input for the image size multiplier. This is a little trickier than it seems, but there are already several excellent posts on here about solving the problem. I was stuck, just as you, but Kareem and Luke's posts were fantastic in helping me to figure out where I was going wrong.
