I am currently working on my final project, and I need to create a database which contains a table with a FOREIGN KEY field. Unfortunately, I've constantly been getting errors. Upon Googling them, I read somewhere that the version of PHPLiteAdmin used by CS50 does not support FOREIGN KEYS. Elsewhere I read that it does, but some special commands need to be executed in the Python code of the application I am building to enable FOREIGN KEY functionality. Could someone possibly clarify this for me? Are foreign keys supported by the CS50 software? If so, how do I go about enabling them?

I have been stuck on this for a while, so I would really appreciate your input :)

  • @DinoCoderSaurus I thought it might be but I wasn't sure if I read the other thread correctly. Could you just confirm that phpliteadmin used by CS50 does not have FOREIGN KEY capacity? Aug 13, 2017 at 15:47
