I'm currently on Week 2, having completed and submitted all the required challenges for Weeks 0 and 1. I'm taking the course through edX, and I can't remember how I originally got to the page listing my grades (I had to take several weeks off and am only now getting back to the course), but I do vaguely recall a dark-red and white color scheme, and seeing all my submitted problems displayed with a passing grade.

Now it's been several weeks and I can only find this CS50.me gradebook page (https://cs50.me/courses/b90cbcd6-4c36-481c-8b6d-c6d50f4ed38e/scores), which looks completely different from what I remember. (Am I going crazy, or was there a design overhaul or something this last month?)

Anyway, the point is that I checked it last night and noticed that one of the problems I had submitted and received a grade for – the "hello.c" challenge, of all things – is now marked as "ungraded" (see screenshot).

And I can't figure out how to re-submit it! (Or if I even need to.) On the pset page (http://docs.cs50.net/2016/fall/psets/1/pset1.html) it tells me to go to "CS50 Submit" (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdZ8iL3Ppd8YCXBRMvv0J8HActqo88Hk2IczhhLdhfpxnqSzg/viewform), but when I follow that link, it takes me to a completely unrelated page (something about "Visitas Puzzles"? I dunno...)

I also tried using the "submit50" command in CS50.io, but that apparently doesn't work for pset 1.

Very confused over here (and I'd still kinda like to know why my grade disappeared in the first place...) – I will be grateful for any advice!

One of your issues is you appear to be using the Harvard Fall 2016 problem sets, which are no longer active (and are for registered Harvard students).

If you are an edX student, be sure you are using the edX materials found here: https://courses.edx.org/courses/course-v1:HarvardX+CS50+X/courseware

Also, hello.c is no longer graded because the code is actually provided for you. :) But if you do want a grade, you can use submit50. Just be sure you are following the submission instructions in the edX materials.

And, finally, yes, the gradebook / submission process has been updated in the last few weeks. You can see your submissions here: http://cs50.me/submissions and your gradebook/scores via the link you posted (which is private to you). It's also accessible from the Submissions page by choosing "Courses" in the left sidebar and then "CS50x 2017".

  • Thank you so much, curiouskiwi! Oh dear, I had no idea I was using the wrong materials, haha – I could have sworn the way I found that website in the first place was through the edX course, but I guess the two versions of the website look so similar I didn't even notice I was on the wrong one. • @JinxMontague you aren't the first one! ;)
