I'm totally confused, I tried every solution I could find, but still, I can't pass the check50. I keep getting the expected "##\n", not "#\n" error. i really need your help. here's my code:

[removed solution code]

And here is the check50 result:

:) mario.c exists.
:) mario.c compiles.
:) rejects a height of -1
:) handles a height of 0 correctly
:( handles a height of 1 correctly
    expected "##\n", not "#\n"
:( handles a height of 2 correctly
    expected " ##\n###\n", not " #\n##\n"
:( handles a height of 23 correctly
    expected " ...", not " ..."
:( rejects a height of 24, and then accepts a height of 2
    expected " ##\n###\n", not " #\n##\n"
:) rejects a non-numeric height of "foo"
:) rejects a non-numeric height of ""

could somebody help me? pleaseeeeee.

  • Your program looks correct and passes check50 for me, maybe you have not compiled after changing your program – MARS Mar 27 '18 at 22:22
  • Tnx, i got it, I compiled it by a different file name like "exp.c"', I thought it wonuldn't matter for the compiler which file name it will be, as long as the directory is the one the check50 extract the data from... And of course It was my bad. Tnx for your quick replay. – user21335 Mar 27 '18 at 22:48
