I recently submitted the pset7/finance in cs50. I checked for style in style50 and it returned looks good! which is an indication that it is correct.

But when I submitted to using submit50 I ended up getting 4 in the style score. How is this possible? Also, I have followed proper indentation in every html file as well.

And if there is a style error in one of the template files, how do I check which one? cause style50 does not run for html files.

I wonder whether there can be one proper indentation for HTML/Jinja templates. Mixing the two can easily create too many indentation levels. Also, I don't think they are tested for style at all.

  • Which again begs the same question which is bugging me. What is going wrong? style50 for both application.py and helpers.py is perfect. Apr 20 '18 at 16:34

Consider resubmitting your pset7/finance after passing it through style50 again. This could possibly eliminate any errors while submission and you may could them.

Hope this helps! And if this answer is apt, please put a check mark and lets keep up on forum maintenance!
