cs50 pset2 caesar works fine, but every output has a '!' after it

Question

I submitted my caesar solution and the output prints fine, but weirdly there's always a '!' behind the output.

For example:

Expected Output:

ciphertext: b

Actual Output:

ciphertext: b!

What's going on!? The symbol '!' doesn't even exist in my code.

See anything wrong with this line?

    for (int i = 0; i < ALPHABET; i++)

How many letters are in the plaintext string?
