Is this a way to shorten the variable or something?

  • At this point in the code, you should be able to inspect code, header files, etc. and know how to do basic research into code, data types, structs, etc. Have you looked at the header files, or reviewed all of the video shorts and walkthroughs for this pset and lecture?

The above line means that we are declaring a int type variable called a.

RGBTRIPLE triple;

This line means that we are declaring a RGBTRIPLE type variable called triple. RGBTRIPLE is defined in bmp.h.
