I am currently working on my final project using the same formatting as pset7. Everything seems fine, except for one file, where the function render does not function properly. The picture at the top doesn't show. My input boxes are not formatted as the rest are in other files belonging to the same web site. even the copyright at the bottom is not formatted. Instead it appears at the left side, in an unfit matted fashion. Does someone know the reason to this? Is it perhaps I used $_GET in the file, which as a result changes the URL to message.php/?name=myname. Does that confuse the function render defined in functions.php. And how would I solve this?

  • Did you include config.php? – lethaljd Oct 6 '14 at 11:34
  • Yes, the problem is that the formartting is gone even though it is still there everywhere else – Kevin Wu Oct 7 '14 at 14:03
  • Have you done the necessary CHMOD operations at the command line for your new files? Are the controller and templates in the same directories as the others? If you comment out the section with the $_GET parts, does it then render properly? – lethaljd Oct 7 '14 at 18:10
