when i use CS50 IDE, there is a message at the top in a yellow banner which says "Opening workspaces (including access to databases and app frameworks) will be disabled on June 30, 2019. Cloud9 will stop working on December 31, 2019."

Does this mean i will not be able to use the CS50 IDE beyond the 30th of June? In which case, are there any alternative IDE's i can use?

You will be able to use the CS50 Beta IDE. It is currently available here, and you will need to sign in using your GitHub account. Further details on transitioning will be provided later in the summer, according to this post.

Also worth mentioning, you can still use another IDE of your choice if you can integrate check50 and/or submit50 into it.

  • Thanks for the reply. It is a big relief that we will be able to use the cs50 ide after june 30. It will be a 'while' before i will be able to integrate check50 & submit50 in any IDE :D May 20 '19 at 14:55
