At Week 1, I selected to create a CS50 Sandbox. I was thinking this is the new AWS-based c9 IDE.

I went into my old c9 IDE and selected to migrate to the new CS50 environment: Migration selection

This took me to a script, which I copied. Following the instructions, I pasted the script contents on the CS50 Sandbox command line screen, and pressed Enter. This started out well:

Starts out well...

However, it ended up giving me all kinds of error lines, ending in "Disk quota exceeded", a few of which are in this image:

Disk quota exceeded

It points me to a log, which 'cat'ing reveals to be just the beginning portion. (I went ahead and selected to upload the log to the servers.)

Is CS50 Sandbox not actually the new IDE? Did I miss some instructions? How can I export my "stuff" to the new AWS-backed CS50 IDE?

The Sandbox is only a temporary environment. It is not the new IDE.

You should be going to http://ide.cs50.io to run your script.

  • Went there; it shows "preparing your environment", then just goes blank. The URL forwards to: https://ide.cs50.io/beta/<myUserId>/ide Is that correct?

  • Best to send an email to [email protected] with your github username (and perhaps with a link to this post) and someone can look at your account to see what might be happening.
