I have migrated my legacy CS50 IDE from cs50.io but something does not seem to be set up correctly. Many of my old source code files no longer compile and I'm not clear on how to use the help50 or check50 tools any longer. How do I create a new workspace from scratch?

  • Have you set up a new (AWS-based) IDE at ide.cs50.io using your GitHub credentials, or have you set up your own, using an AWS account? – Blauelf Nov 25 '19 at 11:44
  • I migrated my old cs50 ide to the new AWS environment following the instructions that were sent out. So I believe it is the former case. – Dan Nov 26 '19 at 13:40
  • Instructions from CS50 do not mention AWS, because on ide.cs50.io (the new IDE provided by CS50) you would not need any AWS account. Cloud9 (acquired by Amazon), however, sent migration instructions to all of its legacy users (not just CS50 students). – Blauelf Nov 26 '19 at 13:55
