I just want to know if it is possible to use conditions instead of loop in the problem set 1 (Mario), because I think that it's easier to get to the intended output without much code!?

Zakaria, please provide more information / details or code examples. I've done this pset, but I can't recall all the details from memory.

In general, there are many ways you can find a solution. You shouldn't be worried to write a few extra lines of code if that's more elegant / more difficult to make mistakes and it's computationally less expensive.
