I have a problem when I use check50 in speller pset7. I get 1/6 as a final score, but when i run the code in the ide, I get the correct output, but the speller says its a wrong answer. enter image description here

Please let me know if the code is also required.

  • If your database schema does not match exactly that of the distro code students.db, check50 gives this result. – DinoCoderSaurus Apr 16 at 14:36
  • Hmm aight, but I did input the correct csv file – Akshay Apr 17 at 3:15

This problem is likely caused by a different database schema in your local project than the distro database schema. Running .schema students command in the sqlite CLI (ie sqlite3 students.db from the linux command line) must produce this output:

~/2020/pset7/houses/ $ sqlite3 students.db
SQLite version 3.22.0 2018-01-22 18:45:57
Enter ".help" for usage hints.
sqlite> .schema students
CREATE TABLE students (
    id INTEGER PRIMARY KEY AUTOINCREMENT,
    first VARCHAR(255),
    middle VARCHAR(255),
    last VARCHAR(255),
    house VARCHAR(10),
    birth INTEGER
);
