I was following the directions from the website and was putting clang -0 hello hello.c
I got an error code. I'm not sure if this means anything but when I put ls
it says a.out* hello/
and hello.c
. Also when I try to do the next set of instructions which is ./hello
it tells me that ./hello is a directory
. Also when I put make hello
I also get an error code.

Hi! Please post your code and screenshot of error code for better understanding your question. – Egor Fedorets Jun 13 '20 at 10:06
Problem with your ./hello not working is that there is no hello program to run. There's a folder called hello in that location not a program.
And about error in make CAN YOU SHARE THE ERROR CODE OR WHATEVER ERROR YOU FIND WHEN YOU RUN make hello

I already figured it out or else I would share the code! I'm just going to mark your answer as correct so other people don't try to answer it. – Aarti Jun 23 '20 at 20:00
