How do I create an advanced query in HTML and CSS? I have to create a front end similar to Google and have already outfitted the first two pages, it's the 3rd page, the advanced query page that I need help to figure out. I need to be able to provide input for 4 fields, but I'm not sure if I also need to use any other languages to make the process easier.

  • "easier" for who? For the programmer additional languages => additional complexity ∴ not easier. Reading the spec, IMO, this is straight up HTML/CSS. Jul 7 '20 at 15:51
  • You're right, adding more languages would everything much harder. I guess my more specific question is how do I create an advanced search query with a filter? Would I just create another input type and add filters?

  • Honestly have no idea what "filter" you speak of. Did you look at the query string that google creates when an advanced search is executed? That should be everything you need to know to proceed. Jul 9 '20 at 1:14
  • No, I did not. But I think that's what I was trying to ask about. When I was asking about the specific keyword filtering, I wasn't thinking about the query string. Thanks for the help.
