EDIT: I fixed the issues with the Data but now the webpage looks really bland (default text, font, etc) and does not match the format of the other pages. Am I missing something in my HTML?

{% extends "layout.html" %}

{% block title %}
    Home
{% endblock %}

{% block main %}
    <table>
        <tr>
            <th>Symbol</th>
            <th>Name</th>
            <th>Shares</th>
            <th>Price</th>
            <th>TOTAL</th>
        </tr>

        {% for row in dataList %}
            <tr>
                <td>{{ row.symbol }}</td>
                <td>{{ row.name }}</td>
                <td>{{ row.shares }}</td>
                <td>{{ row.price }}</td>
                <td>{{ row.stockValue }}</td>
            </tr>
        {% endfor %}

        <tr>
            <td>CASH</td>
            <td></td>
            <td></td>
            <td></td>
            <td>{{ remainingCash }}</td>
        </tr>

        <tr>
            <td></td>
            <td></td>
            <td></td>
            <td></td>
            <td>{{ totalValue }}</td>
        </tr>
    </table>

  • check the browser console for errors; make sure html is valid with NuValidator Jul 10 '20 at 14:45
  • @DinoCoderSaurus Doesn't seem to have any errors as all the data is correct. Is there a CSS class or id that I am missing? Jul 10 '20 at 17:11
  • "Doesn't seem to have any errors" is not the same as "there are no console errors and no validation errors". Sorry to be pedantic, but there is really nothing to go on in the question as posted, just giving troubleshooting ideas. Jul 10 '20 at 18:19
