I am trying to display a picture on one of my Homepage webpages. I have copied the picture to pset8/homepage subdirectory. If I double click on it, it will open in a new tab in the IDE.

My html code is fairly simple but the result is to show a box with the alt tag rather than the picture.

In the console, I get an error message: IMG_1337.JPG:1 Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONTENT_LENGTH_MISMATCH

Checking on the web, the advice is to use the file name as I have tried here.

I added an image from wikipedia with no problem.

Advice on the proper syntax for showing an image from within the IDE would be appreciated.

    <div>
            <h3>Cantaloupe harvest</h3>
            <img src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/28/Cantaloupes.jpg/330px-Cantaloupes.jpg" alt="Cantaloupe">
            <img src="IMG_1337.JPG" alt="Cantaloupe">
        </div>

Do not use '.JPG'. Instead use '.jpg'.. Also check if your image file is .jpg or .jpeg Use exact same name as the file (even the capitalization) Have a great day!
