When I try to execute the file, for example "./ readability" is says "bash: ./: Is a directory". It just started doing this the past few days. I even tried running files that were working fine, to now get this message when I try to execute. They compile fine, it's when I go to execute that I get this message. Any suggestions?

  • There is no space between "current working directory" (./) and the program name. Assuming the executable is in the current working directory, ./readability should work. Commented Jul 15, 2021 at 16:54
  • @DinoCoderSaurus please add that as the answer.
