I submitted my solution to PSET6, but the autograder does not seem to evaluate the solution correctly. I have checked the solution using check50 and everything passed. I compared the staff solution against mine and also confirmed that the submitted solution works fine. According to the instruction it is OK to research hash functions on the WEB. For my solution, I implemented dictionary.c on my own and used an OpenSource HASH library to compute the hash key (which according to the instructions is fine as long as we acknowledge the source which I did through an OpenSource notice text). I suspect that autograder does not properly support linking a library. My makefile was submitted and code compiles properly. I would like to get some help on how to get credit for this

You are correct. The autograder does not support any external libraries or extra files. I'd suggest changing to a simpler hash that does not require any extra files and submitting that.

  • Thank you, I will resubmit.
