Due to very limited time for the course it took me until now to finish the PSets (in fact the last PSet is not finished yet, but it is nearly finished and will be submitten before the year is over). This doesn't leave me much time for the final project so I probably won't be able to submit that in time. Is is still possible to pass if that happens? FYI, I have a perfect score so far.

If by pass, you mean receive the certificate, no. If you don't submit the final project, you will not receive the certificate.

You do have the option of registering for the new session that starts in January. Most of the psets are the same and you are allowed to submit this year's code towards it. Then you only need do the new psets and the final project and you will qualify for a certificate in the 2015 course.

  • What I've seen in some of last year's final projects, is that some people just made a 'proof of concept' video, meaning their apps weren't finished but they sent a video with their concept, and some preview lines of code. Not sure if it counts, although their videos were posted. Dec 28, 2014 at 11:07
  • It's an honor system, so you are meant to complete your project but no one is going to be checking.
