I was initially having the same problem as another member who got this message when trying to download Dropbox: "Trouble connecting to Dropbox servers. Maybe your internet connection is down, or you need to set your http_proxy environment variable."

So I followed the advice in the answer section of that question and removed the CS50 application from VirtualBox. Now, when I try to import the application again, I get the following message:

Failed to import appliance /Users/Admin/Downloads/appliance50-2014-vbox-2.ova.

Machine settings file '/Users/Admin/VirtualBox VMs/CS50 Appliance 2014/CS50 Appliance 2014.vbox' already exists.

Result Code: VBOX_E_FILE_ERROR (0x80BB0004) Component: Machine Interface: IMachine {480cf695-2d8d-4256-9c7c-cce4184fa048}

I've tried re-downloading virtual box, and it didn't help. I'm really at a loss as to how to get the CS50 appliance again, with or without Dropbox, so any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Okay, just figured out that I hadn't deleted CS50 appliance from my hard drive, so once I went in and did that, I was able to reinstall it no problems. Thanks anyway!
