Code returns output of one like it is supposed to

Question

My code returns 1 if argc does not equal 2 which is what it is supposed to do...

:( handles lack of argv[1] \ expected output, not an exit code of 1 :( handles argc > 2 \ expected output, not an exit code of 1

Can someone explain what is going wrong? Everything else passes for Caesar and vigenere

if argc is 1 then you are supposed to printf a message to the user and then exit with 1.
