If you are doing this course via edX, you must submit the Standard editions. The Hacker editions are only for your own extra learning.

  • Standard editions are simple. i have 4 years of programming experience. As soon as i saw the first lecture, i got the point that this course is mainly for beginners. But i thought to give it a try just for fun and may be to learn something new. Am i glad that i learned few things that i didnt knew , specially working in linux environment in which i have not worked much. So point is it will be no fun if i am doing standard editions so i am doing hacker editions. So any workaround you can suggest that my hacker edition assignments can be considered. thanks Feb 19, 2015 at 12:58
  • There is no workaround. If you find the standard editions easy, then it should only take a few minutes to do them before working on the hacker ones. Well, I suppose a workaround would be to take the course for credit through Harvard Extension... then you can submit the hackers for grading; but via edX, only the standard editions can be submitted.
