if (!isalpha(message))
{
     //  do this
}

When I try to use isalpha() I get an error that says it's not valid in c99. What am I missing?

Make sure you include ctype.h. Execute man isalpha in the terminal for more info!

  • I figured it out. I can only do isalpha on what is in an indexed location, not an entire string. Mar 25 '15 at 2:51
  • Using isalpha with a whole string would cause a different error, @StephanieNewville!
