Did anyone get the easter egg while working recover.c?

If you open the card.raw file for reading, and then:

char block[512] = {0};

fread(block, sizeof(char), 512, inptr);

which is incorrect, but run it in gdb, and "print block", your array has the value:

"bit.ly/8v94Kw ;)", '\000'

I love cs50!!

  • Sorry Stephen I thought this was an internal comment for voters or I would have been a little more constructive. See the front page of the course here... courses.edx.org/courses/HarvardX/CS50x3/2015/info and look down the page for the Facebook, Twitter pages etc. There's also a Slack chat in yellow at the top of that page. All of these are good for posts like your OP. Stack Exchange is strictly technical. Hope that helps. :) – Phil M Jun 5 '15 at 19:23
