Try http://localhost/phpmyadmin
I always accessed phpmyadmin using that url.

My cash won't display in my porfolio
You are trying to get the cash value from the session by using $_SESSION['cash']. Only the user id is stored in the session. You have to query the users table using that id to find the user's cash.

I don't know if this is the correct solution but I used this code to get around the problem:
$username = "%" . $_POST['username'] . "%";
query("SELECT * FROM users WHERE username LIKE ?", $username); …
