The zip file you linked contains folders for breakout and find, as specified in the problem set. There does not appear to be any fifteen content. Note that find was moved to accompany breakout, as stated in the notes detailing the changes between the 2014 and 2015 course offerings. The fifteen project and files appear to have been discarded entirely. It also ...

Why do you think we pass before and after by reference (instead of by value) to calculate, even though we're not changing their contents? Consider the type of before and after and what are the differences between passing a variable by reference and by value. Specifically what changes in memory allocation. Why do you think we used fgetc to read each ...

Yes they will. The grading will be done according to your last submission. I have submitted more than one solutions for half of the psets. Got the grades according to the last submission.

No, you don't have to sign up again. It was decided to extend the deadline from the end of 2015 to the end of 2016, so your grades received from last year continue forward to this year. However, for assignments that you have not yet completed, you will need to do the assignments for the 2016 class going forward. Some are the same, some have minor changes, ...

Didn't really go through the first section of your code, but whenever you use the error function, you need to "continue" in order to go back to the beginning of the infinite loop. This prevents the multiple errors. // TODO: validate request-line unsigned int length = strlen(line); if(line[length-1] != '\r') { ...

You appear to be adding nodes to your trie using malloc, even though the root node is created with calloc. Where do you initialize the fields of the nodes that you allocate using malloc?

It is very hard to say on the first glance, but have you done the "case sensitivity" portion of the pset? I had a problem there, which caused the same errors in valgrind. Mind you, that it is not so simple to use strcpy or tolower on word in check function.

First of all, notice that inside a for loop you can use other variables as well, not only counter. E.g.: for(counter = 1; counter <= height; counter++) { int row_number = counter; int hash_quant = counter + 1; ... } Even further, you don't need to store the quantity counter + 1 in an extra variable. You could simply use it as is, in any ...

Please see this related answer. If you tried your "no pause, low velocity" approach, you'd eventually hit that problem (as I did;)

Yes, a new session of CS50x will begin in January and I would expect it to be just like this year's (self-paced with a December deadline). Keep an eye on the edX homepage at the beginning of January for registration.

The option comparison chart lists all this information, and more, including end dates. The lecture videos will be different. This is stated on the page listing the differences ...
