well I have no idea where the problem was but I got rid of it. I solved my question by uninstalling and then reinstalling the appliance in VMware workstation ,hope this will help you... :)

Try setting your Adapter 1 as NAT and disabling the other 2 adapters. You may need to enable the Host-only adapter later (when you reach pset7). Update: you should also enable the "Cable-connected" option as per the screenshot below
